Family Self Sufficiency Program (FSS)
The Family Self Sufficiency Program is a family assistamce program offered by the High Point Housing Authority. The program is open to all families who are residents of the housing authority under the public housing or Section 8 programs.
FSS helps families improve their financial situation and career opportunities through a variety of services including job training, education, escrow accounts, and career and family couseling. The goal of FSS is to empower residents to obtain economic independence, self sufficiency and ultimately independence from government assistance programs.
